Check them out below and good luck in resolving the problem!\r\nWhat Causes Monster Hunter: World to Crash on Windows?\r\nAs it\u2019s usually the case with video games, there can be many different, unknown causes which can make the game crash and become unplayable. However, some causes are distinct and they affect a large number of users. Check out the list of the most common causes to Monter Hunter: World crashing:\r\n\r\n\r\nSolution 1: Reinstall the Game\r\nReinstalling the game is the first thing on the list because the good thing is everything is tied to your account and you won\u2019t have to lose your progress. If you have a strong Internet connection and a new PC, the game should be reinstalled in no time and the crashing problem should cease to appear.\r\n\r\n \tClick the Start menu button and open Control Panel by searching for it or by locating it in the Start menu. Alternatively, you can click the cog icon in order to open the Settings app if you are using Windows 10 on your computer.\r\n \tIn the Control Panel window, switch to View as: Category at the top right corner and click on Uninstall a Program under the Programs section.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tIf you are using the Settings on Windows 10, clicking on Apps section from the Settings window should open the list of all installed programs and apps on your computer.\r\n \tLocate Monster Hunter: World in the list either in Settings or Control Panel, click on it once and click the Uninstall button located in the Uninstall a program window. Confirm any dialog choices to uninstall the game, and follow the instructions which will appear on the screen.\r\n\r\nYou will need to download it again from Steam by locating in the Library and choose the Install button after right-clicking on it. Check to see if the crashing problem persists.\r\nSolution 2: Update Your Graphics Card Drivers\r\nUpdating the video card driver is generally the best thing you can do in order to resolve such a problem occurring with your video games. These drivers are the main gate of communication between the computer and the graphics card and it\u2019s important to have the latest version installed. Make sure you do so by following the instructions below!\r\n\r\n \tClick the Start menu button, type in \u201cDevice Manager\u201d with Start menu open, and select it from the list of available results by simply clicking the first one. You can also try the Windows Key + R key combo in order to bring up the Run dialog box. Type in \u201cdevmgmt.msc\u201d in the Run box and click OK in order to run it.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tSince it\u2019s the graphics card driver you want to update on your computer, click the arrow next to the Display adapters section, right-click on your graphics card and choose the Uninstall Device.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tConfirm any dialogues or prompts which will ask you to confirm the uninstallation of the current driver and wait for the process to complete.\r\n \tSearch for your graphics card driver on NVIDIA\u2019s or AMD\u2019s Input the required information about the card and your operating system and click on Search.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tA list of all available drivers should appear in chronological order. Make sure you choose the most recent entry, click its name, and the Download button afterward. Save the installation file to your computer, open it, and follow the instructions on-screen in order to install it. Right-click on it and choose the Properties option from the context menu which will appear.\r\n \tNavigate to the Compatibility tab in the Properties window and check the box next to the Run this program as an administrator option before saving the changes by clicking OK or Apply.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n \tMake sure you confirm any prompts which may appear which should prompt you to confirm the choice with admin privileges and the game should launch with admin privileges from the next startup. Check to see if the game still crashes!\r\n\r\nSolution 4: Disable Fullscreen Optimizations\r\nThis is quite a simple fix which has actually worked for several people and it\u2019s definitely something to try out if the methods above have entirely failed. Fullscreen optimizations seem to be the culprit to the crashing issues and, luckily, they can be disabled in a blink of an eye, simply by following the instructions below!\r\n\r\n \tFollow the steps 1-4 from Solution 3 in order to navigate to the game\u2019s installation folder. By default, it should be SteamApps\\common\\Monster Hunter World.\r\n \tLocate the MonsterHunterWorld.exe file in the Monster Hunter World folder.
